It’s like some one flipped a switch, and boom it’s spring. The leaves are coming out, the first of the blossoms are about to start (apricots) and I’m all of a sudden way behind on my spring work. There is still some pruning to finish as well as the wood to pickup. Mowing is a about to start not to mention dealing with the grass around the roots of the high density trees.

The up side is the weather is beautiful. Outside in the fresh air is a pretty good place to be.

This gala apple grew a little to close to a crack in the post.

With the great work of fire fighters things are much calmer now. There is still fire in the mountains and it will take a lot of work but local homes do not appear to be in imminent danger.

There where a number of people who packed up and where either ready to leave or headed for safer ground or. Apparently it is still pretty intense further south in the valley.
